Quecreek Mine 

In July of 2002, the World was once again focused on Somerset County, PA. First for the 9/11 events, this time it would be a mining accident. Nine miners were trapped 240 feet below ground for 77 hours when the mine was flooded by millions of gallons of water. All nine men survived.
